For our resource spotlight of March we’ve selected a resource that will help keep you on track, meet your deadlines, and assign and collaborate tasks with your team. Wunderlist is a free organizational tool to help keep your projects and tasks well balanced.
Wunderlist is free, but you can upgrade to pro if needed. On their website, you can create a free account and setup your profile. There are two ways you can use Wunderlist. You can use Wunderlist online, or you can download the Wunderlist app for your computer, phone, or tablet. Either way you use it, the interface is very similar. If you use the app you will need to connect to an internet source once in a while to allow Wunderlist to sync your settings.
When you open Wunderlist, you can create lists at the bottom left of the screen. In each list, you can create to-do items by typing in the middle top section of Wunderlist. You can also create folders by dragging lists on top of each other in the left hand section.
In a to-do item, you can add a due date for the item. You can also add subtasks and add notes. You can even attach document files at the bottom of the item. In a shared list, you can assign to-do items to specific team members.
To share a list with another person, right click the list on the left side menu and click “Add People”. Enter in the Wunderlist name or email address of the person you want to share it with.
